The Road Trip Continues Part 1: Mesa Verde National Park

On our way down to Mesa and after the race, Norman and I decided to do a little road tripping.  We had a pretty fun couple of days roaming around the four corners.  I got to get some pretty cool road toad rides in, and we got to explore some sleepy Colorado mountain towns.

Our first stop was Mesa Verde National Park.  It's not that often that I actually get to take Norman some place he hadn't been to before.  I went to the park after last years mountain bike race and snooped around so it was fun to be able to go there with Marc.  Mesa Verde has some of the most notable and well preserved ancestral Pueblo cliff dwellings in the country.

These Pueblo's were loco..these buildings were crazy how well, strong, and where they were built

Holy Cow that is the Norman in a picture..all alone!  He must have been tired after the bike race to actually smile for a pic!

Family shot!
