This past weekend we headed south for the 12 Hours of Mesa Verde mountain bike race. This race is located in Cortez, CO and just outside of Mesa Verde National Park. Norman and other members of the now Salt Lake City Grassroots Cycling Team (formerly Pedros) like to enter this race each year. This year Norman signed up to do the race solo...which became that much more of a challenge given his setback this winter. All of the guys did great especially considering that it was pretty warm out in the desert. Here is a little video that I made about the weekend and the epic mountain bike race.
