The 3rd Annual Great Thaw, Arrive at the Drive Contest - Conditions Update

Well we are about halfway through May right now and that means that many of you have already been eliminated from the contest.  Sorry folks better luck next year.  This year has been one of the highest snow total years on record in all of Salt Lake, and the great melt off has been very slow.  For about a week now we have been snowmobiling, four wheeling, and snowmobiling again, to get to our cars.  It's been a little epic given all the vehicle changes involved.  Marc and our neighbor Kim worked on the road this weekend and we are hoping that enough snow has cleared out that we might be able to just four wheel over the remaining snow.  (One vehicle is a major victory!)  As of right now we have been snowmobiling since November of last year, which puts us at about 7 months now of snowmobiling.  We are all ready for this to be over and for us to finally be able to drive our cars, but are anticipating at least another two weeks.  So it looks like those of you who picked dates in late May might have a good chance at winning! I'll keep you all posted on how it goes and who the lucky winner will be!
