Sleds, Quads, & Cars

It's that time of year....spring time on the mountain.  That means we can wake up to either warm and sunny, or cloudy and snowing.  On Saturday it was beautiful here up at the house, probably about 60 degrees, this morning....snow and a high of 29.  This has of course meant that the condition of our road is well...interesting.  The road is melting out fast...really fast.  Much of the Wasatch Front has flood warnings and the run off on our road is significant.  We have patches of clear road, bumpy snowy road, and some treacherous sections snow/water/asphalt/and significant drop offs.  This just means that getting home right now is...a real adventure every day, and we are taking a snowmobile, to a quad (that's Canadian for 4 wheeler) to car.  But the good news is...spring is here and we are getting closer to being able to drive all the way home!
