Kitchen Diaries

PROGRESS!  Yes folks we have progress.  Today is a big day in the world of the Mt. Aire Kitchen Remodel...today...we get walls and a ceiling!  Yes it is true I am a big fan of the open floor plan, but it will be nice to no longer stare at exposed wires for the lighting or 2x4's holding up the framing of the house.  I'll have to post pictures later on tonight as construction is going on as I type. 

Update on Doggie Meltdowns - Many of you have expressed your concerns for Yeti's well being.  Yes it is true he is still sans green carpet and seems to be doing just ok.  He still hangs out on the landing...because it still has green carpet remnants.  He tends to hang out upstairs more often which has led him to make an executive puppy decision that our bed is now his bed. He was even so bold as to actually pull the covers back and tuck himself in yesterday, when no one else was home.  Seems as though someone has become a bit passive aggressive about this reno and we are going to be dealing with some long term implications as a result of it!
