I'm Ready for My Close UP!

SMILE FOR THE CAMERA!  For the second year in a row, the U.S team did our annual photo shoot.  Thanks to Kori Novak our new P.R/Marketing Manager we are beginning to look like a professional team.  The purpose of our photo shoots is to take some pics that are going to be used in the annual media guide and for our hero cards.  (Hero cards are our autograph cards that we have printed each year, they are really great to give out when doing talks, meeting with kids, and sponsors.)

This past June, Kori sent out an email informing us about the upcoming photo shoot.  She told us to bring items/stuff with us that would show our personality.  Of course I emailed back right away and asked if Yeti could be in my photo shoot.  (As we all know my world revolves around the white tornado.)  After getting the go ahead from Kori, and the go ahead from Yeti's agent/other owner he was in for the shoot.  We gave him a bath that weekend to make sure that his fur was nice and white for the photo shoot.  Everything was going great the morning of the shoot until Marc took him on his morning walk and he ran through all the trees and dirt!  Typical pooch not really a show dog at all.  Anyway it was a lot of fun to have Yeti in the shots and he is now a feature in the official U.S. Speed Skating Media Guide and my hero card.
Most photographers ask their models to shake their hair for that bed head look, Yeti let his floppers flop!  (Check out the muddy paws!)

My pooch and me!  He's the best!
