First Snow Fall of the Year

Ohh the weather outside is frightful! But inside it is rather delightful! We have received our first round of snowstorms here at the Mt. House. In the past week we've had two storms blow in and leave more than just a dusting of snow on the ground. Today I would have to admit things looked more like January than October. None the less we (all three of us) are rather excited about winter heading our way!
This is a shot form early this morning. Crazy how much snow we have gotten and it is only the first couple of days in October!
